Review of Maharaja- 50th film of Vijay Sethupathi’s career has tremendous action-thriller

Review of Maharaja ,Vijay Sethupathi’s most awaited action-thriller film ‘Maharaja’ has been released in theaters on 14th June 2024 i.e. today. Directed by Nithilan Swaminathan, this film is the 50th film of Sethupathi’s career.

Film critic Ramesh Bala has shared the first review of Vijay Sethupathi‘s ‘Maharaja’. He wrote on social media, “Maharaja (4.5/5) it is rare when a film gets both cinematic presentation and content perfect.


This is one of those rare films, Vijay Sethupathi could not have expected better than this as his 50th film. He has done both class and mass. Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohan, Natty Nataraj and many other supporting casts and a brilliant technical team. Must watch film.”

The story of ‘Maharaja’ revolves around a barber, whose character is played by Sethupathi. Who sets out on a mission to avenge the theft that took away his beloved ‘Lakshmi’ from him. This film is full of suspense and mysterious incidents.  Apart from Vijay Sethupathi, many actors including Anurag Kashyap, Mamta Mohandas, Nataraj, Bharathiraja, Abhirami, Singampuli, Aruldoss, Munishkant, Vinoth Sagar, Boys Manikandan, Kalki and Sanchana Namidas have performed brilliantly in ‘Maharaja’.
