Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev undergoes Brain Surgery at Apollo in Delhi, Isha Foundation founder Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev has undergone emergency brain surgery. Sadhguru was admitted to a private hospital due to bleeding and swelling in the brain. Surgery was performed on March 17 to remove frozen blood from the brain. Now his condition is improving and he has been removed from the ventilator. PM Narendra Modi also talked to Sadhguru and inquired about his health. Sadhguru has expressed gratitude to the PM.
Actually, Sadhguru was suffering from severe headache for the last four weeks. After which he was brought to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Here after MRI examination it was found that he was having bleeding in the brain.
Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev was suffering from headache for the last four weeks. Despite the severity of the pain, he continued his programs and activities, and even organized a night-long Mahashivratri celebration on 8 March 2024. However, when he reached Delhi on the afternoon of 15 March 2024, his headache became unbearable. After which he was brought to Indraprastha Apollo Hospital in Delhi. Where on the advice of senior neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri, his MRI scan was done at 4:30 pm., in which swelling and bleeding were detected in his brain.
However, even after that, Sadhguru told the doctors that he had not missed a single meeting in the last 40 years. After that he completed his meeting on 15 March. However, on March 17, 2024, Sadhguru’s neurological condition rapidly deteriorated, with weakness in his left leg. Along with that his headache also increased. After which he was admitted to the hospital. A CT scan revealed increased swelling in the brain.
After which a team of doctors (Dr Vineet Suri, Dr Pranav Kumar, Dr Sudhir Tyagi and Dr S Chatterjee) performed an emergency surgery to stop the bleeding in Sadhguru’s brain within a few hours of his admission. Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev is recovering rapidly after surgery.
