UItheMovie is an upcoming Pan-Indian film Directed and Acted by the acclaimed hitmaker Upendra and produced by G. Manoharan and KP Sreekanth under the banner ‘Lahari Films LLP’ and “Venus Entertainers”.

UITheMovie
The film was announced in June 2022. The music is composed by B. Ajaneesh Loknath. The making budget of this film is around Rs 100 crore.
This movie also stars in the lead role of Reeshma Nanaiah. Murali Sharma, Sunny Leone, Nidhi Subbaiah, Sadhu Kokila, Murali Krishna, and Indrajit Lankesh feature in supporting roles.
Till now, the story is not unveiled what is exactly there in the movie that creating suspense in the minds of viewers, it’s a fictional world with virtual locations which is hard to imagine normally for people. But what the storyline is not known yet even the many characters of the movie are not shown in the teaser. Only Upendra can be seen sitting on a horse-like animal in the teaser. Undoubtedly, the movie’s music is quite resonant and creates curiosity in the viewers’ minds.
Upendra’s Movie’s Filming and Post production
A teaser was launched on 18 September, on the occasion of Upendra’s birthday. Cinema Express reported that it was “an audio-only teaser… with Upendra’s voice shrouded in mystery and darkness, unveiling tantalizing sounds that hint at dripping water, thunderous gunshots, and a skilled man evading danger. The voice poses a question: “How does one escape from it?” before adding that if ones catches a glimpse of light and listens carefully, it imparts the wisdom of composure, concentration and the intricacies of weaponry.
The teaser concluded with a woman’s voice proclaiming, “This is not ‘AI,’ this is ‘UI’, use your intelligence.” A double exposure picture with the character of Upendra’s face on that of a horse was used as thumbnail of the teaser. It had four million views on YouTube in 24 hours.
The visual effects, revealing that the team had created a unique world within the film, comprising over 1,400 VFX shots, and that the film incorporated various cutting-edge technologies, such as VR-Mocobot. it’s being said that 3D scanning of Upendra was made using a setup of more than 200 DSLR cameras to create his CGI double. It was reportedly the first Asian film to use this technology. It was also revealed that an entire sequence was shot using a virtual reality pipeline.
Filming for UI completed in early August 2023, with a song sequence left pending to be shot in October that year. It was reported that Upendra also assisted in editing, which would take a month’s time, before the dubbing process.

Upendra is an Indian actor, filmmaker, and politician. He was born on September 18, 1968, in Koteshwara, Kundapura, Karnataka, India. Upendra has primarily worked in the Kannada film industry and has gained fame for his versatile roles as an actor and director.
Upendra started his career in the film industry as a writer and made his directorial debut with the film “Tharle Nan Maga” in 1992. He gained widespread recognition and popularity with movies like “Om” (1995), which became a landmark film in Kannada cinema. Upendra is known for his unique storytelling style, bold themes, and experimental approach to filmmaking.
