WrestleMania 40 Night 1 results, WrestleMania 40 Night-1 was over in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania results of the matches’ are-
1- Rhea Ripley VS Becky Lynch- Rhea Ripley successfully defended her women’s world heavyweight title against Becky Lynch. It took 4 riptides to put the man Becky Lynch down. Both women gave all in this match so many near falls but the Mami Rhea Ripley won the match and continued her title reign.
2- A-down Town VS New Day VS Awesome Truth VS The Judgement Day Vs DIY VS New Catch Republic ladder match for Smackdown and the Raw tag team championship- Finn Balor and Damien Priest failed to defend their tag title. Grayson Waller and Austin Theory ( A-down town) retrieve the Smackdown tag team championship and Awesome Truth won the RAW tag team championship in this ladder match.
3- Rey Mysterio and Andrade VS Santos Escobar and Dirty Dom- Rey Mysterio and Andrade defeated Santos Escobar and Dirty with the help of Philadelphia Eagles legends Jason Kelce and Lane Johnson. Rey Mysterio hit 619 and splashed on Santos Escobar for a pinfall win.
4- Jey Uso VS Jimmy Uso- WrestleMania 40 Brother VS Brother match. Jey Uso defeated his brother Jimmy Uso in an emotional match. Solo Sikoa did not interfere in this match. Both of them hit countless super kicks at each other. Jey Uso wins this match by hitting his splash on Jimmy Uso.
5- Bianca Belair, Jade Cargill and Naomi VS Damage CRTL- Jade Cargill had her first match at the grandest stage of Wrestling. Her team Defeated Damage CTRL. Jade Cargill planted Dakota Kai into the ground to pick up Pinfall Victory. Jade Cargill had a bright future in WWE.

6- Gunther VS Sami Zayn for WWE Intercontinental Championship- Gunther and Sami Zayn test each other with their physicality. This match was about Gunther’s ruthless power against Sami Zayn’s resolve. Gunther hit 3 power bombs and one splash from the top rope when Gunther once again went to the top rope Sami Zayn countered with a helluva kick to a surprised Gunther, and off the top rope, landed a wild brain buster. Zayn did another helluva kick and then landed a third straight one to get the pin and end the longest Intercontinental Championship reign in WWE history in a shocking upset.
7- The Rock and Roman Reigns VS Cody Rhodes and Seth Rollins- After making their iconic Entrances. The crowd exploded with the chants. The rock looks amazing in this match he looks like he never left the WWE. Cody Rhodes hits the Rock with Rock Bottom into the announcer’s table. Roman Reigns hits a spear to Seth Rollins into the barricades.
Cody Rhodes tried doing a Three Cross on Reigns, just like last year, but The Rock used the belt to whip Rhodes and Reigns speared him. The Rock got the tag back into the ring and hit Rhodes with a Rock Bottom, then the People’s Elbow. The Rock pinned Cody Rhodes for the win. It means the Night-2 main event will be contested with the bloodlines rules between Cody Rhodes and Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship.
