Delhi’s water crisis will end,A major decision has come from the Supreme Court on Thursday on the petition filed regarding Delhi’s water crisis. The court has asked Himachal Pradesh to give 127 cusecs of water to Haryana with immediate effect, which will be released to Delhi, so that thirsty Delhi can get relief. Along with this, the court has also asked the Delhi government to take measures to save water.

The Supreme Court has passed an important order to get rid of water shortage in Delhi. The Supreme Court has directed the Haryana government to release the water released by Himachal Pradesh to Delhi without any hindrance. The court has said that no politics should be done on water. The Supreme Court bench of Justice PK Mishra and Justice KV Vishwanathan noted that the Himachal Pradesh government has no problem in releasing its surplus water to Delhi.


The Supreme Court has asked Himachal Pradesh to make its surplus water available to Delhi and directed the Haryana government to release the surplus water supplied by Himachal Pradesh to Delhi without any hindrance.

Hearing was held in the Supreme Court on Thursday on the Delhi government’s application regarding water shortage in Delhi. During this time, the Supreme Court has made it clear that the Delhi Government should not misuse the water in Delhi in any way.
